HHS Secretary Kennedy visits the office of refugee resettlement

«Hello, I’m Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I’m your Secretary of Health and Human Services, and today I visited the operations room of the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which is one of the subagencies here at the Department of Health.

Can we prove force, fraud, or coercion to make a human trafficking case? The ORR has been fully dedicated to trying to locate the 291,000 children who went missing during the Biden administration — the unaccompanied minors who crossed the Mexican border.

The most sacred duty we have is to protect our children. So I want to thank all of you for the work you’re doing, and may God bless you all.»

During the Biden administration, more than 291,000 unaccompanied minors crossed the southern border of the United States. Many of these children were released to sponsors without proper follow-up, leading to growing concerns about their whereabouts and safety. The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), a subagency of the Department of Health and Human Services, has been actively working to locate these missing minors amid rising fears that some may have fallen victim to human trafficking, labor exploitation, or abandonment.

The effort involves reviewing records, contacting sponsors, and coordinating with other federal agencies to ensure the well-being of the children. Critics of the Biden administration claim there were systemic failures in oversight and monitoring, while officials under the current Trump administration assert they are committed to correcting these errors and protecting the children. The situation represents a serious humanitarian and security crisis, casting doubt on the immigration policies of the Biden administration.
