Trans Activists Call for JK Rowling’s Hanging, Deface Nelson Mandela Statue After UK Supreme Court Ruling

Transgender activists in Britain have not taken well to the country’s recent Supreme Court decision.

Last week, Britain’s Supreme Court ruled that the term “woman” can only refer to a biological female.

“The unanimous decision of this court is that the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex,” Patrick Hodge, deputy president of the Supreme Court, said as he delivered his judgment on Wednesday.

“Therefore, a person with a Gender Recognition Certificate in the female gender does not come within the definition of a ‘woman’ under the Equality Act 2010 and the statutory guidance issued by the Scottish ministers is incorrect.”

Trans activists responded by taking to the streets over the weekend, where they vandalized a statue of South African leader Nelson Mandela and called for the hanging of the gender-critical Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

According to police, statues of Sir Robert Peel, Benjamin Disraeli, and the suffragist Millicent Fawcett were also defaced during the demonstrations, which were held in Parliament Square rally on Saturday.

Ah yes, protests for “trans rights.” The only demonstrations where men can proudly and publicly assemble in #ParliamentSquare to call for women to be killed.

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch condemned the protests, accusing the protesters of “criminal incitement.”

A mob of trans-activists waving death threats at women isn’t protest—it’s criminal incitement. If the law isn’t enforced, we don’t have equality, we have two-tier justice.

It’s time for Labour to stop being on the side of these extremists and start defending women. https://t.co/CJKC4ZTesb

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper also condemned the protests after the Labour Party said they would accept the ruling.

“Criminal damage like this, including to statues of men and women who fought for freedom and justice like Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Millicent Fawcett, is disgraceful,” Cooper said in a statement.

“It is right that the police are investigating,” she continued. We are strengthening the law to better respect and protect important memorials.”

”Freedom of speech and protest are important in our democracy, but this kind of criminal damage is completely unacceptable.”
