Incoming Voice of America Director Kari Lake spoke to The Gateway Pundit on Wednesday while meeting with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to discuss her plans for the future of the global news organization.
Lake also met with Freshman Arizona Congressman Abe Hamadeh, who ran for Arizona Attorney General alongside Lake, running for Governor in Arizona’s rigged 2022 election where 60% of voting machines failed in the state’s largest county, Maricopa. The two challenged their elections but were again cheated out of justice in Arizona’s corrupt court system.
“We talked a little bit about election integrity and some of the plans he has to make sure that elections across this country are run in a more fair manner that the people of this country can have faith in,” Lake told The Gateway Pundit. Previously, The Gateway Pundit spoke to Hamadeh about his plans to secure elections, and he promised “big changes at the federal level.” Hamadeh proposed legislation to federally ban ranked choice voting, clean up states’ voter rolls, and finally stop illegal aliens from voting in American elections.
Hamadeh said on X yesterday that he and Lake ” discussed making election integrity a top priority and her appointment by @realDonaldTrump as the Director of Voice of America.”

President Trump announced last month that Lake would serve as the Director of Voice of America.
“She will be appointed by, and work closely with, our next head of the U.S. Agency for Global Media, who I will announce soon, to ensure that the American values of Freedom and Liberty are broadcast around the World FAIRLY and ACCURATELY, unlike the lies spread by the Fake News Media,” said President Trump.
Lake, one of Trump’s greatest allies and a broadcast news veteran, who walked away from her 27-year career as a nightly news anchor in protest of the COVID-19 and 2020 election propaganda, will be perfect to fill this role. The leftists in the Fake News Media are likely seething that their arch nemesis, Kari Lake, will oversee the United States’ international broadcasting network.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lake previously joined Bannon’s War Room to discuss her new role as head of the global news broadcasting outlet and said she’s “looking forward to telling of the renewal of America to the world and looking forward to making sure that we’re covering what’s happening with this administration in a fair and accurate manner.”
Lake further explained that she plans to modernize and “bring Voice of America into its next generation” to ensure that America’s coming greatness under Trump is “accurately being portrayed across the globe in 48 different languages.”
Currently, the talent and production level at Voice of America, which is plagued by leftist viewpoints, is far from what it could be under the helm of Kari Lake. Additionally, the organization has reportedly been exposed to foreign spies working under the guise of VOA freelance journalists.
Lake did not elaborate too much on her plans to reform the organization but said she’s currently focused on “making sure that we’re setting all biases aside” as she prepares to lead coverage of the Trump Administration.

Lake: I’ve been appointed by President Trump to lead, to be the Director of Voice of America. So, I’m coming here, actually, to see the inauguration, this historic inauguration and take part in this amazing week of history, and also to talk to some Senators and Congressmen about how important Voice of America truly is. Conradson: I know it’s early, but is there any plans that you can elaborate on for your director role at Voice of America? You know, I’ve heard it’s a really corrupt organization. They’ve had some issues with spies even in the organization.
Lake: Well, we certainly don’t want things like that happening. Obviously, I’m going to just concentrate right now on the journalism aspect of it and making sure that we’re setting all biases aside as we go to cover this administration. You don’t have to be a huge Trump supporter. There’s probably a lot of people there who don’t like him. You know, or if you do love him, that’s great. We set our personal opinions aside and we cover things fairly and accurately and making sure that we’re covering the appropriate stories. I mean, sometimes it’s not so much about what you are covering; it’s what you’re leaving out. But it will be a lot of consequential decisions made right here in the nation’s capital over the next four years. And frankly, one of the great things that is going to be happening is the 250th birthday of this amazing country, a country that cares deeply about freedom, God-given freedom. So, we’re going to make sure that the world knows about that. So I’m looking forward to covering that as well and taking our cameras and our reporters across this great nation to show the world what America truly is.
