JUST IN: Matt Gaetz House Ethics Committee Report Leaks to Media – Here Are the Details

Congress has leaked its hit job, er “report,” against former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

According to the report set to be officially released later Monday, Gaetz allegedly made tens of thousands of dollars in payments to women for sex while he was a member of Congress, along with a host of other so-called ‘crimes.’

“From 2017 to 2020, Representative Gaetz made tens of thousands of dollars in payments to women that the Committee determined were likely in connection with sexual activity and/or drug use,” the report reads.

In total, Gaetz allegedly paid more than $90,000 to 12 different women. One person was supposedly under 18 and illicit drugs were used at these parties.

More from CBS:

Victim A recalled receiving $400 in cash from Representative Gaetz that evening, which she understood to be payment for sex. Victim A said that she did not inform Representative Gaetz that she was under 18 at the time, nor did he ask her age.

All of the women who testified said the sexual encounters with Gaetz were consensual, however, one woman told the committee that the use of drugs at the parties and events they attended may have “impair[ed their] ability to really know what was going on or fully consent.”

Another woman told the committee: “When I look back on certain moments, I feel violated.”

The leaked report also found that Gaetz created a false email account ostensibly for buying weed.

State laws were allegedly violated by Gaetz when he supposedly had sexual intercourse with a minor.

It’s important to note that Gaetz has denied all wrongdoing. Moreover, even the Biden Department of Justice declined to prosecute him.

‘My 30’s were an era of working very hard – and playing hard too. It’s embarrassing, though not criminal, that I probably partied, womanized, drank and smoked more than I should have earlier in life,’ Gaetz previously wrote on X.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported the House Ethics panel secretly voted to release a ‘damaging’ lawfare report of Matt Gaetz before the end of this Congress.

The panel previously voted not to release the report after Gaetz resigned from Congress last month. But they wanted to get in one last shot at Gaetz and ruin his political career.

Gaetz has also filed a lawsuit to prevent the report’s release, alleging his constitutional rights are being violated.

But given the fact details have already leaked to the corporate media, this renders the suit likely moot.

This release could impact Gaetz’s political future. He has said he may run for Marco Rubio’s vacant senate seat and is open to running for governor of Florida as well.
